Rad Matmati Executive Chef - Cucina & Co. and Macy's Cellar Bar & Grill Born in Tunisia, North Africa, Matmati moved to the United States in 1980. He went on to work at several acclaimed restaurants alongside Chef Rick Moonen at New York's Water Club and Oceana, Washington D.C.’s Willard Room and Willard Intercontinental, and with chef Jeremiah Tower at restaurant 690 in San Francisco. Today Matmati’s simple cuisine combines an agile use of ingredients and spices, creating a clean, natural presentation in his dishes. |
