Felix AcostaExecutive Chef | Cucina & Co. at the MetLife Building
Felix Acosta didn’t initially plan to become a chef. Before enrolling in culinary school, he studied electrical engineering at Northeastern University, spent several years working for the U.S. army, and tried his hand at mental health counseling. But cooking was what he loved, and his decision to pursue it as a career paid off greatly. After spending several years in Seattle and San Francisco’s thriving restaurant scenes (including stints at Dahlia Lounge, the Painted Table, and Zaré), Mr. Acosta returned to his native New York City where he now presents "expertly prepared, beautifully presented, eminently satisfying food" (Providence Cicero, the Seattle Times) at Cucina & Co.
