GREGG WIELE Executive Chef Leatherby's Café Rouge Forsaking crowded skies for a crowded dining room, Gregg Wiele has been a part of Patina Restaurant Group since he left the U.S. Air Force Academy. Spending much of his time cooking at the San Francisco Opera House, he was quickly absorbed into the vast culinary diversity around Northern California. He considers cooking to be an art form, saying "some artists work with paint, others with clay. I create art on a plate." His cuisine is Californian, with European and Asian influences. Wiele enjoys eating and serving small plates so people can enjoy a variety of tastes, textures and flavors.
