Jeff Raider Executive Chef - The Grand Tier A native of the Hudson Valley region, Jeff Raider's background includes time at The Sea Grill, where he developed an expertise with seafood. Raider has most recently held the executive chef position at One Restaurant in Irvington, New York and previously at Valley Restaurant at The Garrison Resort where he received triumphant reviews from publications such as The New York Times, Esquire Magazine and Wine Spectator. The opening of the Metropolitan Opera for the fall 2008 season premiered a new menu created by renowned Italian chef Umberto Montano, with whom Raider is working closely. Raider traveled to Florence to study Montano's style and method over the summer to prepare for his new role. |
